Zurikanen Iddrisu receives Joanna R. Baker Memorial Graduate Fellowship
Zurikanen Iddrisu is a first-generation graduate student from Ghana and a PhD candidate in the department of Geography and Earth Sciences. He holds a BSc in Development Planning from his home country and an MSc in Urban Analytics and Visualization from the University of Warwick, UK. His interests hover around the general area of geospatial data science where he seeks to blend tools in GIS, data science and spatial econometrics to confront emerging urban challenges. Zurikanen’s doctoral dissertation is about investigating the patterns of corporate investment in single-family rental housing in Charlotte and what it implies for neighborhoods and the future of homeownership in the city.
