Dr. Providence Adu Wins PhD Dissertation Award

Dr. Providence Adu, a recent PhD in Geography graduate, received the 2024 Graduate Dean’s Distinguished Dissertation Award in the category of Social Sciences for his dissertation titled: Analyzing housing market dynamics and neighborhood change: A case study of Charlotte, North Carolina. Providence has also recently accepted a position as a Geographic Information Analyst III for Fairfax County, Virginia.
