Profile
I am a Research Assistant Professor within the Department of Geography and Earth Sciences. My research mainly focuses on: 1) Deep-sea hydrothermal systems on Earth and on other water-worlds, 2) Atmospheric CO2 capture technologies, with a focus on enhanced mineral weathering in coastal and agricultural environments. My research team implements novel geochemical tools, experiments, and modeling to better understand the geochemical processes within these environments.
I welcome all students to contact me if they are interested in research applied to these geochemical topics and beyond! I typically have projects and funding available for undergraduate students. Contact me if you are also interested in performing Masters and PhD research with me.
