Congratulations to Paul McDaniel (PhD Geography and Urban Regional Analysis, May 2013) who has accepted a research fellowship position with the Immigration Policy Center (IPC) at the American Immigration Council in Washington, DC. The fellowship focuses on the intersections among immigration, entrepreneurship, urban/suburban revitalization, and community building. Additionally, Paul contributes to other aspects of IPC’s mission to shape a rational conversation on immigration and immigrant integration. Through its research and analysis, forums, briefings, and publications, IPC provides policymakers, the media, academics, advocates, politicians, and the general public with accurate information about the role of immigrants and immigration policy on U.S. society.
