The Live Wire – Studying Fire in the Earth System

Brian Magi, Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography and Earth Sciences, was the guest on the October 22, 2015 edition of “The Live Wire,” Inside UNC Charlotte’s streaming webcast. As an atmospheric scientist, Magi explores the relationship between fires, climate, and air quality. His long term research goal is to simulate global fires as a process that is fully coupled to the human and physical dimensions of the Earth system.
